TALORA and Meteomatics Announce Strategic Partnership to Bring Advanced Weather Intelligence to the Next-Generation EFB

Integration of high-resolution weather data and weather intelligence into the TALORA Electronic Flight Bag to support more informed and efficient flight operations

Bangkok, Thailand – 14th October 2026 – TALORA, developed by DextraData Aviation Technologies, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Meteomatics, a provider of high-resolution weather intelligence.

The partnership combines TALORA’s connected EFB environment with Meteomatics’ high-resolution weather data, flexible and rapidly accessible weather data. By bringing advanced weather information directly into the flight operations environment, the collaboration aims to provide flight crews and operators with more relevant weather information where and when it is needed.

Meteomatics provides access to a comprehensive range of weather data, including real-time observations, high-resolution weather models and a broad portfolio of meteorological parameters. Its Weather API enables fast and flexible integration into existing systems and workflows, with global weather data available across more than 1,800 parameters and over 110 sources and models. TALORA is designed as an all-in-one EFB environment, combining navigation charts, Electronic Flight Folder functionality, e-documentation, e-checklists, aircraft performance and Mass & Balance capabilities. The platform also supports real-time weather updates to help flight crews make informed decisions before and during flight.

The collaboration will further strengthen TALORA’s connected approach to flight operations by making high-quality weather intelligence an integral part of the digital cockpit environment. Instead of relying on separate systems and applications, relevant weather information can be incorporated into the operational workflow alongside other flight-critical data.

Enhancing Connected Flight Operations

The partnership brings together complementary expertise from two technology companies focused on making complex operational data more accessible and actionable.

Meteomatics combines weather observations, forecasting models and proprietary technologies to deliver high-resolution weather intelligence. Its solutions include the proprietary 1-kilometer weather models EURO1k and US1k, both providing 15-minute temporal resolution. EURO1k covers Europe, while US1k covers the United States, including the Gulf of Mexico. Meteomatics also provides a scalable API infrastructure designed for integration into existing platforms and systems, with specific weather data and models available depending on the selected package.

TALORA provides a configurable EFB environment designed to support different operational roles and workflows. Its platform is built around seamless system integration, with flight-critical information centrally available to reduce manual processes and system breaks. The integration enables flight crews to access accurate and up-to-date weather information directly within TALORA, supporting informed decision-making during pre-flight and in-flight planning.

Executive Commentary – TALORA

Stephen Young, Chief Commercial Officer at TALORA, said:

„Weather is one of the most important variables in aviation and has a direct impact on flight planning, operational decision-making and the way crews manage changing conditions. Our partnership with Meteomatics enables us to further strengthen the weather capabilities within TALORA and bring high-quality weather information directly into the EFB environment.”

Executive Commentary – Meteomatics

Arjen Piest, Global Aviation Lead at Meteomatics, said:

„Aviation runs on margins the rest of us never see: a flight plan that has to account for volcanic ash, a typhoon and turbulence for several hours out. Talora’s team understood that from the first conversation, and building weather intelligence into their EFB the way they’re doing it is exactly the kind of integration we want to be part of. We’re proud to be a weather provider behind it.“

Driving the Future of Connected Flight Operations

The partnership reflects a shared commitment by TALORA and Meteomatics to advance digitalization across aviation and provide flight crews with better access to operational information. As aviation operators continue to seek more efficient workflows and greater integration between operational systems, the combination of TALORA’s EFB capabilities and Meteomatics’ weather intelligence provides a foundation for a more connected approach to flight operations.

The collaboration will support TALORA’s vision of an EFB that brings together the information and tools required throughout the flight lifecycle, while leveraging Meteomatics’ expertise in high-resolution weather data and weather intelligence. Together, TALORA and Meteomatics are working towards a more connected cockpit environment in which weather information can become an integral part of modern digital flight operations.
